Bros Tope, like I called you and always do. Where do I start from? My friend and brother, such a gentle and hardworking mentor I have always called upon.
You will call me and we will joke for so long and you will always tell me about your plans and kids, how can I question the will of God?
Missing you you already in an understatement, you houses me and fed me when life was tough and even roamed the streets together as Christians when you were still 23 years old and I was 18. This is how long we were together till when we spoke last.
Oh death! I am broken but God be praised.
Another page is closed, good night my brother and friend.
May is all and the family be consoled by God alone.

In Loving Memory of Uncle Muyiwa
Last week Sunday, I lost someone who held a quiet but meaningful place in my life my uncle, Muyiwa. We weren’t especially close, but that doesn’t take away from how much he meant to me.
Uncle Muyiwa had a certain presence steady, calm, and genuine. Even though we didn’t speak often or share everything, I always felt his support in the background. He had a way of showing up in small but significant ways. He didn’t need to say much to be felt.
Some bonds don’t need constant words or grand gestures to be real. Ours was like that understated but real.
I wish I had more time with him. I wish I had said more. But I hope he knew that he was appreciated, that his life mattered to those around him, and that he made an impact just by being who he was.
Rest peacefully, Uncle Muyiwa. You may be gone, but you’re not forgotten.

ASLEEP IN JESUS, BLESSED SLEEP
It is with beaming smile you fondly called me “My brother from another mother”. Indeed we were brothers and did so many things in common. We occasionally slept under the same roof, ate from the same pot, traveled together among other things we did together.
I am grieved with your demise because I will not see your smiling face here on this planet earth again, I will miss your “Ba mi ki iyawo e pe o ku itoju mi”, you sent roll of evaporated milk to my children when I visited you at the hospital… I can’t continue writing everything I’ll miss you for my dear brother. What can you not give to the person you love sincerely? Your act of giving to the less privileged is out of this world.
I will always remember you with joy because I am cocksure you made heaven! You were a follower of Christ Jesus till your departure to the great beyond. In two different dreams I saw you younger and healthier with your Bible held in a hand while you were admitted in the hospital.
I pray God takes care of the lovely children you left behind – You loved them beyond words expression.
It’s hard for me to say goodbye my brother from another mother. Till we meet to part no more. Cheerio.
