ASLEEP IN JESUS, BLESSED SLEEP
It is with beaming smile you fondly called me “My brother from another mother”. Indeed we were brothers and did so many things in common. We occasionally slept under the same roof, ate from the same pot, traveled together among other things we did together.
I am grieved with your demise because I will not see your smiling face here on this planet earth again, I will miss your “Ba mi ki iyawo e pe o ku itoju mi”, you sent roll of evaporated milk to my children when I visited you at the hospital… I can’t continue writing everything I’ll miss you for my dear brother. What can you not give to the person you love sincerely? Your act of giving to the less privileged is out of this world.
I will always remember you with joy because I am cocksure you made heaven! You were a follower of Christ Jesus till your departure to the great beyond. In two different dreams I saw you younger and healthier with your Bible held in a hand while you were admitted in the hospital.
I pray God takes care of the lovely children you left behind – You loved them beyond words expression.
It’s hard for me to say goodbye my brother from another mother. Till we meet to part no more. Cheerio.
